First off, I found out last night that Wisconsin will not be receiving the new charter tonight at the opening ceremony. We're getting it, but apparently they're worried about voting or something so we won't actually be getting it until October when we have a meeting. I'm really pretty disappointed that it's not happening tonight but whatever.
The second piece of news is pretty cool. I was asked not to say anything about this before the convention, so as much as I've been dying to talk about it I wasn't able to. So, here's the big news. Last month I was asked to be a part of the PAC Mate training team here at the convention. So, what this means is that during exhibit hours I will be in the Freedom Scientific training suite on the second floor of the Hyatt. We're in the Minnehaha room. Yes, that's really the name of the room. Everyone's been joking that in order to come into this room you have to tell a small joke. Okay, so that's pretty bad. So, if you're here, come see me. I'm wearing the traditional Freedom Scientific staff shirt and an orange name badge. pawpower4me I still need to find a way to meet up with you and I'm trying to figure out the best way to make that happen. I'm not sure if the Millennium will give me room numbers, and I'm sure a phone call wouldn't be very helpful. SMILE! So, I don't know if you'd want to come to the FS suite, or if you'd want to come to my room, 1134. Otherwise, I sent you an email the other day so you've got my email address.
Anyway, exhibit hours have actually started, and even though we don't have anyone here yet I suppose I should get going. So, I'll talk to you all later.
